Can named persons and/or their associates apply for an AWL while the nil limit, as described in the Radiocommunications (Area-Wide Licences – Limits, Authorisations and Transfers) Determination 2024, is in effect?

We consider all applications on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the Radiocommunications Act 1992 and other laws.

If a named person or associate makes an application, and we consider the application before 1 October 2024, we must refuse to issue the licence, under the Radiocommunications (Area-Wide Licences – Limits, Authorisations and Transfers) Determination 2024
