The purpose of Radiocommunications Assignment and Licensing Instruction (RALI) FX3 Microwave Fixed Services Frequency Coordination is to:
- help us and people who assign frequencies make the most efficient use of the spectrum for microwave fixed services
- guide people who plan microwave systems and sell equipment

RALI FX3 specifies the notional (minimum) antenna requirements for each of the microwave (fixed service) bands.
