This class licence lets you operate an intelligent transport systems (ITS) station.
An ITS station uses wireless technology to communicate from:
- vehicle to person
- vehicle to vehicle
- vehicle to structure
ITS may:
- reduce the number of traffic accidents
- relieve traffic congestion
- reduce environmental impacts of transport on Australian roads
